All newsPlayers around this dateRead on Steam

- Ship force-field shots against Space Pirates now land on the camera-facing surface of the 3D hull, keeping the impact connection and sparks visible instead of depth-rendering underneath the ship body.
- Homeworld-to-Spaceport traffic shuttles and the shared Area 2/title-screen planetary cargo ships now use distinct, fully refined production 3D designs with angular blue glass, detailed engine and nozzle assemblies, elegant landing rails or compact landing stubs, readable gunmetal and carbon surfaces, and subtle tint-safe hull skinning; six high-contrast non-repeating liveries remain available while Area 2 cargo-fill colouring stays independent.
- Cargo-shuttle presentation now keeps hull panels and decals opaque and correctly ordered in the Homeworld Surface Vista, and the Area 2/title ship's twin propulsion jets and glows are aligned to its physical engine outlets.
- Hiding the gameplay HUD with F2 now suppresses only record visuals and audio; raw-dust and credit momentum, rolling 10-second records, and record-prize credits continue updating and being awarded in the background.
- The opening Force Field tutorial now highlights only the five nearest dust particles with softer translucent glow rings, popping them in one at a time 0.8 seconds apart before revealing the intake arrows and input cue; a configurable circle-pop sound hook plays for each marker.
- Homeworld Surface Vista now includes the Family Cottage ending's red hot-air balloon at 80% and 100% planetary health, complete with its passengers, burner flame and glow, and full left-to-right receding flight animation.
- Shared world-stat pop-ups now separate their values into cyan numbers and coral words, units, percentages, signs, and separators, making queues, rates, tiers, ranges, and upgrade previews easier to scan.
- The Ship Bridge Control Room's Run Statistics panel is now 40% smaller in area, with tighter statistic columns, reduced row and progress spacing, and a slightly darker translucent background for clearer reading without obscuring the room.
- The Run Statistics progress display now uses compact uppercase K/M milestone labels, large prominent machined target and live-position sprites that deliberately overhang the bar, a dedicated illuminated magenta next-target marker, a subtle cyan spark trail with a calmer half-speed floating descent, a softer translucent progress fill, and a restrained gunmetal frame whose dark backing stays inside its metal edge; milestone celebrations also use a dramatically larger spark shower.
- Ship Bridge milestone transitions now keep the family and Personal Projects console on the same room phase throughout the celebration, preventing Niko from briefly appearing in two places at once.
- The Personal Projects screen now stays in front of the Control Room's continuous progress sparks and milestone particle effects while open, preventing particles from showing through the panel.
- Homeworld Surface Vista can no longer be entered during Dust Rush; outside Rush, shortcut 4 now opens the Surface Vista when in space and returns to a planet-centred space view when pressed again from the surface.
