Motel Simulator - Drill

Hello!

Today we'd like to introduce another tool that will play an important role in Hotel Simulator — the drill.

In our previous devlog, we talked about the crowbar, a tool that's perfect for a more direct approach to renovation. It's designed to help you remove everything that's old, damaged, or simply no longer needed.

The drill takes things one step further, giving you greater control over both the pace and style of your work.

It may look like a simple tool, but it's a powerful piece of equipment that helps you remove unwanted objects, outdated decorations, and fixtures that no longer fit your vision for the room.

In Hotel Simulator, every renovation begins with preparing the space. Before you can place new furniture, fresh decorations, and create a beautifully designed interior, you first need to make room for change. Sometimes a crowbar is enough, but sometimes you'll need something more versatile. That's where the drill comes in.

With it, you'll be able to remove old elements more efficiently and move on to the next stage of renovation much faster. The drill features three interchangeable attachments, allowing you to adapt it to the task at hand. Depending on the situation, you can choose between different operating modes—a precise mode when attention to detail matters, or a more powerful mode when speed is your priority.

We want every tool in Hotel Simulator to feel satisfying to use while making a real impact on the renovation process. Both the crowbar and the drill are much more than simple animations or visual effects—they are practical gameplay tools that help you work more efficiently and prepare rooms for their next transformation.

This is another step toward creating a deeper, more hands-on, and more rewarding hotel renovation experience. First, you clear away everything that's old and unnecessary. Then you choose new materials, furniture, and decorations. Finally, you welcome your guests into the finished space.

In future devlogs, we'll introduce more tools, gameplay mechanics, and new ways to transform ordinary rooms into truly exceptional interiors.
