We're back with another update!
Hotfix #2 for Wasteland Gunsmith Simulator is now LIVE! This update focuses on fixing several issues reported by our community, improving weapon handling, and making the overall gameplay experience smoother and more comfortable.
First of all, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has been playing our demo, reporting bugs, and sharing suggestions. Your feedback is helping us identify problems and improve the game with every update!
Let's take a look at what's changed!
🆕 New Features & Improvements
Camera Smoothing Setting - Added a new setting that allows players to adjust camera smoothing.
Weapon Statistics Preview - Weapon statistics are now displayed while inspecting weapons on the workbench, making it easier to track their properties during customization.
Alternative Weapon Rotation Controls — Added a new key combination, Left Ctrl + Left Mouse Button (LCTRL + LMB), for rotating weapons in inspection mode.
Improved Inspection Controls - Removed orbit rotation in inspection mode to make weapon handling more consistent.
Minimap Interaction Feedback - Added a visual indicator when clicking on the minimap.
🛠️ Bug Fixes
Weapon Saving Fix - Fixed an issue where previously created weapons would not save modifications made on the workbench correctly.
Inventory Saving Fix - Fixed an issue where weapons were not saved to the inventory if they had never been picked up from the workbench.
Crusher Interaction Fix - Fixed an issue where the Crusher's interaction prompt would not update correctly in certain situations.
Saving Indicator Fix - Fixed an issue where the saving progress notification was not displayed correctly.
UI Scaling Fix - Fixed the position of the weapon slot selection interface on certain screen resolutions and aspect ratios.
