Deadly Trick has been updated to version 0.1.16.
For smooth gameplay and proper matchmaking, please update the game to the latest version before playing.
- Additional Awards are now recorded in Stats.
You can check these records in the Stats window from the main menu.
Developer Note: The current design is temporary. Once we have more development capacity, we plan to improve it into a better format!
- The room name is now displayed in the lobby instead of the host's nickname.
The host can now set a room name when creating a room.
- Player reporting has been added.
You can now report players who negatively affect the gameplay experience through inappropriate behavior or excessive client modification.
Please be aware that players who seriously disrupt gameplay may be reviewed internally if they receive repeated reports, and may be subject to penalties such as suspension from the game.
- Tutorial Improvements
We have changed the tutorial to make it more intuitive and concise.
As the tutorial playtime has been reduced to around 20% of its previous length, the explanations will also be significantly simplified.
Developer Note: We will continue improving the onboarding experience for first-time players, but we felt that providing guidance through a long and detailed tutorial was not the best approach. We will continue exploring other ways to help players understand the game outside of the tutorial and improve the overall experience.
- When the Investigation phase begins, an animation will now play showing your own clues being collected automatically.
- When the "Display Character Names" option is enabled, player nicknames will now also be hidden in the character selection screen, options, and report window.
- Fixed various other reported bugs.
Developer Note: We are continuing to investigate the causes of network-related issues and possible improvements. We will do our best to improve the game so that these issues do not interfere with your gameplay experience.
We would love to bring you more fun updates more frequently, but at the moment, there are some limitations to doing so while also preparing the upcoming major update.
At the moment, we hope to introduce the new map, new character, and skins sometime around mid to late November. However, this is only an optimistic estimate and is not a confirmed schedule.
Rather than rushing to release unfinished content, we believe it is more important to release it in a state that can provide a certain level of gameplay quality, so development may take a little longer.
That said, if development on the new character progresses more smoothly than the map, there is also a possibility that the character may be released before the map update.
We should still be able to gradually share more information with you, so for now, here is a glimpse of part of the new map.
※ The image above is not a final version. Please consider it a rough preview of the overall direction and atmosphere we are aiming for as we work on each area of the map.
We will continue to share more whenever we have something new to show you.
Once again, thank you to everyone who has been waiting for the update. We sincerely appreciate your patience for just a little longer.
We will continue to quickly improve inconvenient aspects of the game based on your feedback.
Thank you sincerely to everyone who plays the game and sends us valuable reports and feedback!
