I wanted to get hotfix up asap to the Live version to fix a crash players were hitting when equipping Gear. That is fixed and there are some extra goodies along with it ;)

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

BUG FIXES

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

  • The Gear tab no longer crashes when you open it on a brand-new guild. Starting a fresh save and clicking Gear used to throw and drop you on the error screen; it now opens normally with an empty roster.

  • Graduated trainees, adventurers acquired by trade, and released-then-re-signed graduates now show their proper portrait instead of a plain first-initial tile — including in the scouting intel list and the auto-renewal and payroll avatars.

  • Activity-log rows that showed up blank — no text, no date — now render their entry and a timestamp. Older saved entries still display.

  • A one-year hire signed in the last stretch of the year (weeks 49–52) can now be extended at year-end. Previously the Extend button never appeared and the member simply lapsed at the rollover.

  • A Set Commission whose required hero has died, been traded, fired, or retired is now cleared from the Quests board at week's end instead of lingering undeployable until its 11-week expiry. While one sat there it blocked every new Set Commission for your other heroes — that no longer happens, and a fresh one can appear the same week.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

BALANCE

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Trade & Markets

  • The Treasurer's auto-buy Price Limit now binds the price you actually pay — market price plus the trade spread and any bulk premium — not just a market trigger. When the full order would breach the limit, the Treasurer now buys the largest quantity that stays under your ceiling instead of skipping the purchase entirely.

  • Offering a rival a material it already supplies now pays you less per unit (0.90× versus an indifferent guild's 0.95×), so the Supply column visibly lowers the "Pays/u" price. A guild drowning in a material no longer bids the same as one with no stake in it.

  • The restock plan now counts material already inbound on your caravans, so "restock all" no longer re-orders stock that's on its way.

Scouting

  • Scout tips no longer print an unscouted prospect's exact OVR. The prospect's potential tier shows only when the reporting scout is Expert-tier or better; a lesser scout gives a talent-unscouted hint instead. The same fog now covers veteran-prospect tips.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

FEATURES

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

  • Enchantment charges are live. An Enchanter's or Runesmith's finished item now comes off the bench charged (10 charges, or 20 if crafted with Arcane Residue). Worn enchanted gear loses a charge every four weeks, and at zero its enchanted stats drop to half. A new Recharge action on the Armory charge row refills a spent item to full for one Magical Essence plus gold (about 10% of the item's sale value); it needs an idle Enchanter or Runesmith and the wearer on hand, and the cost shows on your Treasury statement.

  • Commander's Orders gains a seventh auto-quest focus, Ambition. A party set to it prefers quests that advance a marching member's open ambition — its type, location, tier, an underdog fight, or a first completion — stacking preference when more than one hero benefits. With nothing on the board that advances an ambition, it behaves exactly like Balanced.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

QUALITY OF LIFE

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

  • The Quartermaster's gear-gap and low-tier chips are now expandable. Open one to see exactly which adventurers are behind in that slot — their name, role, the piece they wear and its grade (or "empty"), what their class prefers, and a "deployed" tag when their loadout is locked. The Craft shortcut now jumps to a recipe suited to that hero's class instead of always landing on the same starter sword. A new "blocked" advice tier names the best class-appropriate craft for empty slots and the one thing standing in its way (no crafter, workshop tier, skill, or materials).

  • The Commander's Ledger now shows an "Open" tally alongside Followed / Ignored / Right / Missed, and every open commander recommendation now appears as a row in the Front Desk inbox — where you can mark it read, pin, or archive it. The row clears itself once the ask is resolved.

  • Factions now send gossip, personal, and offer letters, not just welcomes and requests.

  • Item and recipe names now read with correct grammar — gender agreement and word order — in all 18 languages, not only a handful.

  • The Front Desk again shows the Guild / Operations and CCL / Realm sub-tab strips by default, so each side column presents one group at a time instead of a full stack. Turning on the Layout Editor reveals every panel.

  • The Goblin Warband gate-strike screen is redesigned: the old "Strength ●●" pips become a threat readout (the warband's name, its ROVR, and how many it will field), and the muster shows "The odds" — a favoured / even / outmatched verdict scored from your picked party's real power. The Week Summary gives a fuller siege recap.
