Property Pro is back - releasing April 2027

Hi everyone,

Short version: Property Pro is back in active development, and it's releasing on Steam in April 2027.

What happened

I'll be honest - the project sat untouched for a long time. Other releases took priority, and for a while I wasn't sure this was the game I wanted to finish. I've come back to it with a much clearer design, and I'm now building towards a fixed release. I work on it in my spare time, so progress is steady rather than fast, but the date is set and the scope is planned around it.

What's changing

The core stays the same: build a property from the ground up, or buy a used one with all its hidden problems, and run it well enough to survive. But the simulation is getting a lot deeper:

  • Workers are people now. Six skills - Clean, Service, Cook, Build, Repair and Security - that level up with use, plus traits you only discover after hiring. Cheap staff make mistakes; good staff are worth fighting to keep.

  • Everyone has needs. Workers and guests share the same five needs - and if there aren't enough toilets, you'll find out on the floor. Literally.

  • A real reception line. Guests queue at the desk, and how fast it moves depends on who's behind it. Impatient guests walk out and leave a one-star review about the wait.

  • Reviews that explain themselves. Every guest writes a review from what they actually experienced - "loved the breakfast, hated the graffiti in the lift" - and reputation decides who books next.

  • The building fights back. Items wear, dirt builds up, hidden faults surface, and overloading the fuse box drops a floor into darkness.

  • Two ways to play. Open sandbox, or scripted scenarios with a building, a goal and a deadline - fix a wreck before the inspector arrives, keep a hotel lit through a bad week, and more.

What's next

I'll post a development update here every month or two, showing each system as it comes together. A playable demo is planned for early 2027 ahead of release.

If you've kept Property Pro on your wishlist through the quiet period - thank you. And if you have a moment, tell me in the comments: what one feature would make this the tower-management game you want to play?
