Did you think we were sitting around doing nothing? Far from it—we’ve been hard at work rolling out a new game update! We analyzed data from the initial demo version and read all your feedback, realizing that the game was missing some important quality-of-life features. So, we focused on those—along with app stability—to make the demo feel more like a proper demo and less like a prototype.
New Game — You can now start a run from the beginning.
Settings popup — Added a settings popup with the main Graphics and Audio settings.
More game sounds — New and refreshed audio for rewards, map travel, rooms, cards, and characters, plus cleaner battle music when a fight ends; hovering reward items and companions joining the map party now have matching sounds.
Card targeting arrow — When you drag a card to play it, the targeting arrow now stays attached to that card even if other cards shift in your hand, so aim stays accurate.
Starting story slides — Opening cutscene slides now fade in one after another, then uncover each picture in turn, so the intro feels smoother and easier to follow.
Map room reveal — Fixed the animation when new rooms open on the map.
Activable item swap popup — Hovering the current item name in the confirmation popup when you pick a second activable item now shows its tooltip correctly.
Boss fight lineup — Fixed a case where the boss could appear alongside an unfinished enemy you should never have seen.
Improved stability — Hardened several battle and network edge cases so runs keep playing cleanly.
We’re already working on a new version that will bring plenty of gameplay updates. So, join our Discord to stay in the loop and share your thoughts and ideas!
See you soon! 😉
