Hello! A new update for the demo is live, as well as the full release of the game:
=========================================
Stuff It - v1.0.64
=========================================
- Added battle indicators that clearly display active status effects.
- Added PC Ranch View, where you can see all your Huglets grazing together in the field.
- Added a “Keep Idle Events Open” preference below Notifications. When enabled, idle events remain open until answered and no longer display a pie timer.
- Added the ability to replay a Maker’s completed H-scene by typing “Come over” to them in Messager.
- Added a dedicated recovery folder for all save files, further protecting progress against Steam Cloud overwriting saves with older versions.
- Added periodic autosaving during active gameplay and whenever the game window loses focus.
- Added verified local recovery checkpoints for every save slot. Recovery data is now secured before the primary save file is modified.
- Save failures now display an in-game warning and are recorded in a local diagnostic log.
- Improved save recovery so the game selects the most progressed valid snapshot while preserving intentional new-game overwrites.
- Increased the LOVE awarded by conversations from 3 to 5.
- Increased the daily Maker LOVE cap from 5 to 10.
- Made the exploration-complete modal more compact, with improved spacing and a smaller item display area.
- Fixed display and scaling issues at different DPI settings.
- Added monitor-aware window recovery to prevent DPI changes, moving between monitors, or leaving Fullscreen from shrinking the game window.
- Fixed issues preventing certain Huglets from being Re-Woven.
- Prevented Re-Weaving from being used in the demo.
- Improved Re-Weaving support for older Scrapbook entries with missing identity data.
- Further hardened save recovery against Steam Cloud restoring outdated progress.
- Fixed an issue where the game could close even after its final save failed.
- Fixed exploration rewards, route mastery, items, energy costs, and unlocks not always being secured before the completion screen appeared.
- Fixed play time not advancing during exploration, battles, training, cities, and cutscenes.
- Fixed stale or concurrently running game instances being able to overwrite newer save progress.
- Fixed completed routes, discoveries, boss progress, tutorials, and other permanent progression being able to move backwards during a stale save.
- Fixed primary or backup write failures causing progress loss when a valid recovery checkpoint could still be used.
- Added extensive shutdown and save-recovery stress testing covering interrupted writes, corrupted files, missing files, and more than 500 simulated restarts.
- Additional minor bug fixes, UI improvements, and optimizations.

For anyone who lost their save due to an silent saving error or Steam Cloud integration, I want to sincerely apologize. I know its very frustrating, and it should have never happened. With these fixes, and extensive stress testing, I am confident that the issue shouldn't happen again. If possible, I may be able to manually reconstruct your save if you tell me what you lost, and send you a proper save file to regain you from (more or less) the same point you left off from. email me at [email protected]. thank you for your support.
