Update 1.0.7: Puzzle Progress Save and OpenGL Support

Hello everyone, it has been 2 weeks since the launch and there have been a bunch of bug reports and feature requests. I read and organised all of them and implemented the ones that feels more needed first, especially game breaking ones.

Today's update(1.0.7) is kind of packed with some big additions and some fixes.

Puzzle Progress

Really demanded lately and probably great for accessibility, now you can leave off in the middle of a puzzle and come back later to continue in the last step you leave it, you are going to be asked next time you try to play the puzzle if you want to restart or continue where you left off.

OpenGL/Compatibility Mode support

The way the game was built doesn't totally work for this Render mode, using it makes it possible to play on more devices, especially the oldest ones. Sometimes the game itself changes to this mode automatically if the main game is not supported on the device.

The main issue with this mode is that after a small amount of items was placed they become totally white, and after a lot of extra effort I was able to overcome this issue. I hope this helps the game to reach more players who want to experience the game on older devices.

UI Background and Borders animation setting

Now you can turn off the UI background and border animation on settings, this was recently requested, and I am sure a lot of players are going to appreciate it.

Other additions and fixes

What changed:

  • UI: Steam Deck default UI scale is now set for this device, this has not been tested on the device.

Bugs Solved:

  • Bug Puzzles: After the Bathroom and Kitchen puzzle was completed, progress was not shown the next time you start the game.

  • Bug Duplicate: Duplicating too fast while adding new items in the mix gives items their wrong collider, probably making them hard to select.

Don't forget to share your creations, and if you have a little extra time give a review for the game, something that could do wonders for the project.♥️
