We're so glad that everyone's been enjoying the Rumors Update. Thank you all so much for giving us some extra space to really fine tune Episode 5 and align it with our vision. Outside of bug fixes, Scarlet Hollow's content is pretty much locked until Episodes 6 and 7 are complete!
We wanted to give folks a heads up that on August 13th, the price of Scarlet Hollow will increase by $5 from $24.99 to $29.99 USD (with similar regional pricing adjustments as well.)
We decided on this price increase due to the continued increased scope of the project (it's a million words long as of the most recent update, which launched last week!) This will also be the final price increase Scarlet Hollow receives, bringing it in line with our pricing expectations for the game's eventual 1.0 release.
This price increase does not affect current owners — if you own the game, you own the game, and as has been the case with previous content updates, the remaining two episodes are already included as part of your purchase, so you'll get them as a free update when they're ready. Likewise, if you purchase the game before the price increase goes into effect, you'll also be locked in to this lower price!
So if you've been waiting for a good opportunity to start Scarlet Hollow, now is the absolute cheapest the game is going to be for quite a while.
It's on sale on Steam until August 13th for just $18.74, and if you already own Slay the Princess, you can complete our studio bundle on Steam for just $15.93.
Or if you don't own either of our games, this bundle currently lets you get both titles for $24.34.
