🎨 Shadowforge Update – Automatic Color Palette Extraction & Workflow Improvements

This update focuses on making importing artwork much more convenient by improving how Shadowforge handles colors from imported images.

✨ Automatic Palette Extraction

When you import an image into Shadowforge, the editor can now automatically analyze the artwork and populate the Recent Palette with colors found in the image. This makes it much faster to continue editing imported sprites or pixel art without manually picking each color one by one.

Whether you're touching up an existing sprite, creating variations, or using imported references, your working colors are immediately available for painting.

🎯 Better Pixel Art Workflow

The Recent Palette has been improved to better integrate with imported artwork, allowing you to quickly switch between colors while maintaining a smooth painting workflow. This removes unnecessary steps and helps keep your focus on creating instead of rebuilding a palette from scratch.

🛠️ Behind the Scenes

Alongside the new palette functionality, I've continued improving the stability of the import pipeline and refining how Shadowforge manages imported assets and color handling. These internal improvements lay the groundwork for future enhancements to palette management and image importing.

As always, thank you for testing Shadowforge and sharing your feedback. Every report and suggestion helps shape the editor into a faster, more powerful tool for pixel artists and game developers. More improvements are already on the way!
