🔧 Update v0.2.36 — National Demographics, Dynamic Peace Treaties & Transparent AI Proposals
Hello Commanders!This update introduces national demographics and dynamic peace deal cost calculations. It also adds transparent AI trade proposals and critical diplomatic pathing fixes.
Cultural Demographics: Every country now features a dynamic breakdown of its religious and ethnic demographics in the country overview panel. Multiethnic nations display as "Diverse," and majority-secular nations show as "Non-religious."
Diplomatic & AI Restraint Integration: Demographic alignments are now wired directly into international relations and AI decision-making. AI countries are biased toward forming alliances with co-ethnic and co-religious nations, and will display diplomatic restraint before initiating conflicts against them.
Dynamic War Score Costs: Province annexation costs in peace deals are no longer flat. Costs now scale based on a province's share of world GDP, local infrastructure, and population density, meaning great-power capitals are valued realistically (up to 50 war score) while smaller provinces are significantly more affordable.
Full Occupation Bonuses: Achieving 100% military occupation of an enemy country now grants a "Full Occupation" peace budget bonus (+100) and applies a 25% discount to all province demands.
Realistic Capitulations: Full occupation now overrides the AI's conventional military-ratio resistance and scales down territorial friction, allowing players to demand realistic concessions from fully conquered opponents.
Visible Trade Terms: The Diplomatic Inbox has been expanded to display the exact buy/sell terms and resource volumes of incoming AI trade proposals, showing exactly what resources and quantities they wish to exchange.
Reserve Target Visibility: Enforced visibility on strategic reserve target configurations inside the economy panels.
