BeaconBound Launches June 19 — New Gameplay Preview

BeaconBound launches on Steam on June 19.

BeaconBound is a 3D action-adventure about a rolling sphere searching for glowing beacons in a living procedural world. Your goal is simple: collect 15 beacons in one run and survive long enough to reach the final light.

But every beacon is guarded.

As the run progresses, the guardians become smarter and more aggressive. They do not just chase you — they try to cut off your route, punish bad turns and force you to read the terrain quickly.

The world itself is part of the challenge. Fog hides the path. Rain changes traction. Wind pushes the ball off course. Night makes the terrain harder to read. Water slows your momentum, grass drags against the ball, and every hill or riverbank can become either a shortcut or a trap.

During the run, you unlock abilities that help you survive:

- Pointer — find the direction of the next beacon

- Dash — escape danger or cross open ground

- Shield — survive a dangerous hit

- Stasis — freeze nearby guardians for a short time

BeaconBound has two modes:

- Normal Mode — a full run with saves

- Hard Mode — one clean run, no easy recovery

I’ve also published a new gameplay overview showing the core loop: rolling physics, guarded beacons, dynamic weather, abilities and late-run pressure.

If you like physics-based movement, procedural worlds and short survival runs, please wishlist BeaconBound on Steam before launch.

BeaconBound releases June 19.

Thank you for following the development.
