Update #26 Feedback and QoL RELOADED

Hi,

I made a few small teensy tiny- Ok it's a massive update..

There were a few feedback things.. Then there were more.. then I spotted several things, and wanted a few things... And well, this is the result. I hope you like the new game experience. I hope I haven't made any mistakes. If you spot a bug, it was innevitible, please let me know in the discussions.

Thanks everyone for the testing, feedback, and feature requests.

Changelog

  • The order board had a bug, was stuck at 5 order through garage and office stage; it now climbs to 20 dependant on rep. (tldr should see like double now)

  • Added a worker hiring board with randomised stats, rotates every. 8 hours (irl minutes)

  • Workers negotiate their own wage. Faster ones cost more per hour, and the board marks good value or over the odds. The hire fee no longer scales with skill.

  • Workers have two stats, repair speed and upkeep speed.

  • A worn printer is more likely to break, up to three times as likely at zero health. A printer kept serviced breaks as often as it always did.

  • Cartesians start at the correct position when you change rooms.

  • Hover explanations now appear (oops)

  • A palette button next to the printer sort control sets the colour scheme: Default, Black & White, Pink, Sky Blue, Futuristic.

  • Drag printers around a room to swap them, or onto an empty slot to move them. (only works on default sort)

  • Repair bills are the part plus labour, not a percentage of the printer's price. Cleaning a bed is cheap; a power supply is expensive.

  • Repair time depends on what broke. A dirty bed is quick, a print head slower, a power supply slowest. The printer panel says how long.

  • "Pin every order I accept", a toggle on the Orders panel's Active tab.

  • A pinned order's count is green when it's active and red when when it isn't.

  • Ctrl-click printer cards to select several, Shift-click for a range. The sidebar sets filament, priority and loop across all of them.

  • The Orders window is a fixed size. An order you accept, decline or lose keeps its slot until you close the window.

  • Related: order cards no longer change height, and added a message mentioning if an order is impossible to fulfill.

  • The colour scheme is a bit brighter. Teals, greens and reds are stronger.. Thought I'm still thinking about this.

  • Workers repair one printer at a time, at twice the old rate. The rest say "Queued for repair". Servicing works the same way.

  • A worker who can't restock says which problem it is: "Spool storage full" or "Need $X".

  • The print catalogue restyled

  • Quick Actions holds every room wide job: start all, stop all, pause the worker, unload spools, and load a filament into every empty printer.

  • Animations can be turned off in Settings > General. The game also follows your system's reduced-motion preference. Probably good for end game endless mode lag reduction.

  • Scroll bars are dark and fade in only while you're scrolling. Settings > General offers Native, Themed and Hidden. Let me know if this works okay..

  • Offline earnings are capped at twice your peak balance this run, on top of the eight-hour limit.

  • A printer now remembers what it last made whether you or a worker started it. Printers in a staffed room have a loop button. The worker keeps remaking whatever that printer made last.

  • The "No spools available" warning links the word "shop", opening on the Filament tab.

  • Viral Post no longer appears at maximum reputation.

  • Zoom changes.. The zoom range runs from 33% to 500%, I personally think it's better now.

  • Achievements cleared properly on prestige, removed grandfathering from an update a long time ago, hopefully not affecting current players.

  • Carbon fiber orders unlock at reputation 60 instead of 75, alongside Premium and Flexible, hopefully resulting in more.

  • The upgrade letters on the printers didn't match their names. Reliability is now "R" and Hotend is "H".

  • Large prints can no longer arrive as Rush orders. Large orders at normal time limits are unaffected.

  • Fixed the lag in a large Endless workshop at 4x. Frame rate roughly tripled on a full room.

  • Prestige lifting the reputation ceiling is explained on the prestige screen, the reputation bar and the help menu.

  • Fixed prints being auto sold while an order that wanted them was unfilled, stupid dead locks..

  • Room cards in the shop draw every slot you get.

  • Your prestige level and income multiplier sit under the sidebar balance as a badge.

  • Orders you can't possibly deliver say so before you accept them, with how many your printers could finish in time.

  • Any (auto-switch) filament shows greyed out for ordinary workers, with a note that it takes an Expert Worker.

  • The bottom buttons have number keys, 1 to 8. Space pauses, Escape closes whatever is on top. The full list is in Help.

  • The Endless Workshop can have a worker. Unlocking it raises the worker cap to five. Good luck with the lag XD

  • The button on the game complete screen says PRESTIGE not finish here, and opens the prestige dialog.

  • Money popups no longer drift up over the Settings pane.

  • Printers can be bought in bulk, with a quantity picker and a MAX button on each shop card.

  • Sell All clears a whole room in one click, from the room sidebar or the shop's Rooms tab.
