Speed, Mobility, and Support: The T-20 in Victory Banner

Hello everyone!

I'm continuing to introduce the vehicles that will soon arrive on the battlefields of Victory Banner. Today, let's take a look at another piece of Soviet light armored equipment — the T-20 "Komsomolets" armored tractor.

A brief history

Developed in the late 1930s, the T-20 was designed to transport infantry and tow field guns, such as the famous 45 mm anti-tank gun ("Sorokapyatka") close to the front line. Its compact size, excellent cross-country mobility, and reliability made it an indispensable workhorse for the Red Army under even the harshest conditions.

The "Komsomolets" could carry up to six infantrymen on its armored hull, serving as a fast and compact transport. Despite its small size, it was protected by 7–10 mm of armor and armed with a hull-mounted DT tank machine gun in a ball mount, giving it a fighting chance when the situation demanded it.

On the game battlefield

In Victory Banner, the T-20 is an excellent choice for commanders who value mobility. Use it to quickly move infantry or medics to key positions, reinforce your defenses, or support an advancing assault.

Its DT machine gun may not rival the firepower of heavier armored vehicles, but in the right place at the right time, even a light weapon can turn the tide of battle.

Don't forget to Wishlist Victory Banner and join our Discord to stay up to date on the upcoming demo, playtests, and other development news.

Best regards,

Dmitry
