The playtest is now open to everyone

Vicelock is a turn-based tactics roguelite set in a zombie-infested city: grid combat with AP/MP and elemental spells, extract with your loot after each fight, then craft, forge and gamble your gear back at base. All loot is server-verified, and player trading runs through an auction house where prices come from actual players.

The playtest just went open: hit "Request Access" on this page and you're in. It's the full current build.

It's early and that's the point. I'm a solo dev, the game gets fixed and updated almost daily, and right now every single tester has a real impact on what this game becomes. This week alone, one player's session helped me catch two major server bugs.

What helps me most: play 20 or 30 minutes, then tell me where you stopped and why, here in the discussions. Blunt is fine. And if you sell or buy anything on the auction house, you're shaping a brand new economy from day one.

Thanks for being here this early.
