Hello raiders! Welcome back to another weekly update on the work we’re doing for Hell Galaxy. In our last dev diary, we talked about the changes we’re making to review and rebalance the game’s difficulty, with the goal of making the experience more enjoyable while supporting different levels of challenge. Today, we’d like to return to a topic we introduced not long ago and share a few more details about the new area you’ll eventually explore. It is a vast abandoned region, filled with ancient Neterunian structures. We want to give you another glimpse of the experience we are building in this remote corner of the galaxy. We can’t tell you exactly what happened here just yet. What we can reveal is that this place is deeply connected to the distant past of the Galaxy of Neterun. Our goal has been to create an environment that conveys both the grandeur of Neterunian architecture and the feeling of a civilization long abandoned. The technology found here is ancient and dormant. There was a time when everything you see was alive and fully functioning. Now, however, the entire place seems frozen in time. The silence does not come from the emptiness of space, but from the stillness that surrounds every structure, as if time itself had simply stopped. Mystery lingers throughout this forgotten place. What were the enormous spirals surrounding its main structures built for? What was this place truly meant to be? What truth lies hidden among these ruins? Those are questions only you will be able to answer. For us, they represent the sense of discovery we want this area to evoke, together with the constant feeling of danger that every raider's exile should bring. You will understand what we mean once you set foot among these mysterious Neterunian ruins. This region is home to dangers unlike anything found in the systems colonized by the raiders. They are alien in the truest sense of the word, and learning how to face them will be essential if you hope to uncover the truth hidden within these ancient remains. And that’s all for today.
