To use the LUMI Chat changes, please update both the main app and the LUMI Chat mod.
■ New Features
Game mode
「Game mode」 has been added, letting you play games or work on other tasks while keeping LUMI on your screen.
- Clicks on LUMI, Bongo LUMI, objects, speech bubbles, and the garden pass through to the window underneath.
- Only the item under your mouse fades to half its usual opacity and returns to normal when you move the mouse away.
- The settings window and the 「Start a Chat」 input window remain usable.
- You can turn it on or off from the tray menu or the 「Screen」 tab in settings.
- Default: Off
Strawberry Milk LUMI and Hologram LUMI
The rare alternate-color LUMI now has a proper Strawberry Milk LUMI appearance. A hologram effect has also been added.
- Whenever a LUMI appears, there is a very small chance of a Strawberry Milk LUMI or a Hologram LUMI appearing.
- With a chance so small it feels like a miracle, a Strawberry Milk LUMI can also have the hologram effect.
Applying Settings
General settings that do not require a reload are now applied and saved as soon as you change them.
- If you have only changed settings that apply immediately, you can close the window with 「Close」.
- If you change a setting that requires a reload or takes effect the next time you start the app, such as size or language, the buttons change to 「Cancel」 and 「Apply」.
Behaviour Lists by Character
You can now select a character in the 「Behaviour」 tab in settings and adjust only that character's behaviours.
- Opening the behaviour list by right-clicking LUMI or another character selects that character's behaviours.
Improved Workshop Security
Mods that include executable code now require you to review their details and enable them manually before use.
- The app notifies you at startup when a mod has been newly added or its code has been updated.
- Review the source and permission information in the 「Mods」 tab in settings, then select 「Enable」. The mod will take effect the next time you start the app.
- Until you enable the mod, neither its code nor the content bundled with it will be applied.
Behaviour Settings for Broadcast mode
You can save separate behaviour settings for normal mode and Broadcast mode.
- Switching modes applies the enabled or disabled state and frequency saved for each behaviour in that mode.
- Ending Broadcast mode restores your normal-mode behaviour settings.
Mod Creation Tools and Guides
The plugin SDK's creation tools and guides have been expanded.
- You can read the Korean and English guides in your browser, with expanded examples and step-by-step instructions for creating your first mod.
- Tools have been added to prepare a mod's folder for Workshop upload and check its file structure.
- Please use an SDK version that matches the main app.
Twin LUMI
An Easter egg animation has been added when LUMIs high-five while Korean is selected.
■ Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where LUMI could misidentify screen boundaries across multiple monitors with different scaling or arrangements.
- Fixed an issue where window throwing stopped beside the target window and switched to another behaviour.
- Fixed an issue where windows excluded in 「Windows LUMI Can Climb」 could still be selected for window throwing.
- Fixed an issue where windows remained excluded after being removed from the blocklist.
- Fixed an issue where the cursor kept its petting appearance after the mouse moved away from LUMI during petting.
- Fixed an issue where, with several different characters on screen, directly choosing 「Playing Together」 failed to pair characters even when two or more copies of the same character were present.
- Fixed an issue where repeatedly changing 「Garden Display」 could move the garden off screen.
- Fixed an issue where opening the behaviour list did not bring the settings window to the front if it was minimized or behind another window.
- Fixed an issue where LUMI fell off the edges of the dedicated Broadcast mode window.
- Fixed an issue where LUMI treated desktop windows behind the Broadcast mode window as invisible walls or platforms to climb on.
- Fixed an issue where Bongo LUMI did not appear in the OBS stream.
- Fixed an issue where using multiple mods together could display translated text from the wrong mod.
- Fixed an issue where speech bubbles appeared on a different LUMI from the one specified by a mod.
