Fractal Foundry - Public Playtest Launch Trailer:

Over the last 3 weeks, more than 150 players joined the Closed Playtest and over 200 bugs were reported.

Thanks to all your feedback, I was able to fix the most critical issues, improve many parts of the game, and get Fractal Foundry ready to open its doors to everyone.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated in the Closed Playtest!

And if you were one of them, you can finally tell your friends that they can join and play instantly!

How does the Public Playtest work?

The Public Playtest is free and open to everyone. Simply join the Playtest from the Steam page and start playing.

You'll be able to experience a demo of Fractal Foundry, build increasingly complex shapes, create Nested Factories, experiment with programmable factories. Expect around 1 hour to complete the main missions, plus 2 additional hours of side missions.

Please keep in mind that Playtest access is temporary and does not grant you a copy of the final game.

The Public Playtest is currently planned to remain available until September 29.

And of course, this is still a Playtest!
You may encounter bugs, balancing issues, or unfinished parts of the game. Your feedback will help me improve Fractal Foundry for the future.

Share your creation!

I'm really looking forward to seeing what everyone creates now that the Playtest is public.

If you'd like to share your creations, give feedback, report bugs, or simply chat with other players, you can join the Fractal Foundry Discord.

Here are just a few creations made by players during the Closed Playtest:

Fractal Foundry is part of Steam Programming Fest!

The Public Playtest also launches just in time for Steam Programming Fest, running from September 10 to September 14!

You can discover Fractal Foundry alongside many other programming and automation games throughout the festival.

Have fun, and I can't wait to see the gigantic fractals you'll build!

Community4 Aug 2026Programmable Factories: one design, multiple outputsHi everyone! Last time, we explored multiple-level nested factories. Today, let's take a look at how factory programming works and how the same factory design can be reused to produce cubes of different sizes. One factory design, multiple outputs! Programmable factories In this example, the same factory can produce cubes of different sizes using parameters. Here's the design of the Cube Factory…Community30 Jun 2026Building factories within factories...Hi everyone! Last time, we saw how to build a simple Splitter factory. This time, let's take a look at nested factories across multiple levels. Since factories can be encapsulated into reusable modules and placed inside other nested factories, you can build factories across multiple levels , opening up countless design possibilities. In this exemple, we built a factory that assembles the input…Community21 May 2026Nested FactoriesHi everyone! It’s been a little over a month since Fractal Foundry was announced. While waiting for the playtests, here is a small look at how nested factories work. In this example, we create a simple Splitter factory that takes one input flow and distributes it across four outputs. Here is the creation process of the nested factory: You can watch the full video here: Factories can be encapsul…
