9 Days – Patch 1.43
Patch 1.43 focuses on expanding the Moon Base, giving players an entirely new way to gather resources, earn Transformation Points, collect Energy, and continue improving their warrior.
Moon Base Expansion
Early after launch, we introduced a base on the Moon where players could upgrade skills and armour to receive a daily chest.
I always wanted to expand this concept further, but never got the time to fully revisit it.
Now, the Moon Base has finally been expanded into a much larger progression system designed to give players another way to farm and strengthen their warrior.
Recruit Members To Your Base
You can now recruit NPCs into your Moon Base.
NPCs that you can talk to throughout the world can potentially be recruited as members of your base.
Using Superzoom on an NPC will allow you to see their recruitment stats and what they can contribute to your base.
Each recruit specialises across four different skills:
Mastery
Specialises in earning Transformation Points.
Attunement
Specialises in finding rarer Energy.
Expeditions
Increases your chance of successfully recruiting NPCs and specialises in finding Energy Tokens.
Scavenging
Specialises in finding Crystals and increasing the amount of Energy gathered.
Different NPCs will have different strengths, so finding and recruiting the right members can have a major impact on your Moon Base.
Recruitment Scaling
Each Dimensional Reset, Energy Reset and New Game Plus will increase the recruitment skills of NPCs found throughout the world.
As you continue progressing through resets, the NPCs you encounter will become increasingly valuable recruits for your Moon Base.
Daily Base Rewards
Every day, the members of your base will head out and search for resources.
At the beginning of each new day, your base will reward you with everything your members have gathered.
For example, your daily rewards could look something like:
True Protector – 100,000 Points
Supernova Energy x500
Crystals x500
The stronger and more specialised your recruits become, the more valuable your daily rewards can be.
Base of Operations
A new Base of Operations interaction has been added to the Moon Base.
From here you can:
Choose the specific Energy you want your base to focus on.
Choose the specific Transformation you want to earn points for.
View the members currently recruited to your base.
Manage your recruits.
Upgrade your Base Capacity to allow more members to join.
This gives you much more control over what your base is farming and allows you to build it around the progression path of your warrior.
Another Way To Build Your Warrior
The expanded Moon Base is designed to add another layer of progression to 9 Days.
Instead of every resource requiring you to personally grind the same activities, you can now build a strong group of recruits that continuously helps you work towards your goals.
Whether you're looking for Transformation Points, rare Energy, Energy Tokens or Crystals, your Moon Base can now become an important part of your build.
Explore the world, find NPCs with the stats you need, recruit them and build the strongest base you can.
Leaderboard Anti-Cheat Adjustments
The anti-cheat requirements for the leaderboards have been adjusted.
Previously, certain extremely high Energy counts were considered unrealistic and could result in a player being sent to the Universal Prison.
With the recent Universal Prison progression changes and now the Moon Base expansion, legitimately reaching much higher Energy amounts is possible.
The leaderboard checks have therefore been adjusted to account for these new progression methods.
If you were previously sent to the Universal Prison incorrectly, upload your Power again and you will be able to enter the leaderboards provided your stats pass the updated checks.
