  • ⭐️ Loyalty Program: Added a new step to allow for multiple rare affixes on items.

  • Enemies: Face new Obsidian variants in higher difficulty modes. All Obsidian enemies now feature a quick transformation animation and visual effects (don't interrupt them while they're powering up, that's just good etiquette).

  • Backpack: Apples can now be safely stored inside the Backpack!

  • ⭐️ Steam Cloud: Full Steam Cloud save synchronization is now supported.

  • ⭐️ Localization: The game is now also localized in LATAM Spanish!

  • New Title Screen and loading screens!

  • Upgrades: Secret radar: New upgrade unlocked at Eperin's. This new radar is attached to the minimap and helps players locate secret areas. It automatically activates near a secret and beeps more frequently as you get closer.

Meta Economy Overhaul

  • Encrypted Memories:
    - They are now significantly easier to find and are used as small objectives.
    - Enemies no longer have dedicated drops. Instead, every Biome has its pool. During each generation, one random enemy will be selected to drop an Encrypted Memory from the Biome's pool.
    - Biome runs can now yield up to 2 Encrypted Memories per visit (one from a random enemy, one from the Boss) until the Biome's pool is depleted.
    - You no longer need to send these to the Ark: once you get an Encrypted Memory, you keep it forever.
    - Higher difficulty settings now feature exclusive Encrypted Memory reward pools.

  • Memonites:
    - Legacy Dusts, Shards, and Fragments have been fully deprecated and automatically converted into the new system.
    - If you have a run in progress, you may lose some currencies from this run (and only this run) that you have not yet sent to the Ark. The recap screen at the end of the run will also show incomplete information about your loots.
    - Memonites are now divided into 4 categories: Biome (found globally in Biomes), Boss (found on Bosses), Secret (found in Secret Areas), and Specific (found on specific enemies or enemy groups).
    - Rebalanced costs across all Encrypted Memories.
    - Crystallizing an enemy still greatly increases the chance that it drops a Memonite.
    - Memonites now always need to be picked up in multiplayer.

  • Ark:
    - FREND: Reworked the interface. Species unlocks have been migrated here from Macaba's station.
    - Resource Converter: Reworked the interface and enabled Cog conversions for all Memonite types.
    - Progression & Bestiary: Added a tracking menu to Sigourney's Codex detailing missing Biome memories, localized monster lists, and their exact Memonite drops.
    - Memonite Hunt: New upgrade unlocked at Eperin's. Allows players to mark specific blueprints in FREND's menu, spawning dynamic helpers during expeditions to speed up the harvest.
    - Koi-Koi: Now resides permanently in the Ark to consult your Memonite inventory.

  • Carving Variants:
    - Expanded the Carving mechanic. Unlocking it allows players to carve enemy Variants for rare Memonites.
    - Enemy Variants spawn rarely at first but scale in frequency on higher difficulties.

  • Misc:
    - Being a Profane in Sanctuary now prevents you from getting Memonites (instead of preventing you from getting Memories)

Balancing

  • ⭐️ Upgrades: Removed Start Source and Gift Slots II from the game. They are now unlocked by default to encourage more interesting builds from the start of the game.

  • ⭐️ Co-op: UI: Fixed the backpack slot in the bottom left showing what other players have in their backpack.

Optimization

  • ⭐️ Vistas: prevent far and small objects from being displayed.

  • ⭐️ Stutters: play visual effects during loading screens to remove stutters the first time they are actually trigerred in game.
