From the neighborhood surrounding your restaurant to the streets, buildings, and environmental details, we've been improving many parts of the map. Our goal isn't just to create a restaurant where you cook food, but to build a world with its own atmosphere that you'll genuinely enjoy spending time in. Our brand-new map trailer is now live! And what you've seen is only the beginning. 👀
🔪 UP NEXT: PHYSICS-BASED CUTTING AND CHOPPING!
Things are getting even more exciting in the kitchen! We've started developing our physics-based cutting and chopping mechanics. We're working on knife handling, ingredient preparation, and physical interactions throughout the cooking process. In our second development video, coming Wednesday, October 14, we'll showcase these new mechanics alongside our updated food models. There's still plenty more to show you from the kitchen!
📅 THE COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN!
OCTOBER 20 — CLOSED PLAYTEST Our closed playtest begins with the development and project teams. During this phase, we'll thoroughly test our gameplay systems as we prepare for the free demo. NOVEMBER 20 — FREE DEMO We're planning to release the free Grill Chefs demo for everyone to try! We're getting closer to the day when you'll be able to manage your own restaurant, prepare food through hands-on interactions, and work together in the same kitchen with up to 6 players.
