Last Civilization: Inherited Flame · published

For the full release of Last Civilization: Inherited Flame, we are developing systems that let village life and the surrounding landscape change over long stretches of time.
As the population and demand for food increase, villages will be able to extend their cultivated land. Fields are intended to be more than a building placed once: repeated work such as tilling, sowing, tending, and harvesting will shape both food production and the visible settlement.
We are also developing a cycle in which villagers can plant saplings on harvested land and gradually restore the forest. Instead of simply exhausting woodland, players will decide what resources to use now and what landscape to leave to the next generation.
Expanded fields and renewed forests will be more than resource values. They will become visible evidence of how each civilization survived. We will continue refining a world where player choices remain part of the village's history.
