PixARK Legacy Official Server Saves Now Available for Download!

The new-server launch support events—including Treasure Dodos and Lucky Bag Beacons—will conclude with the update scheduled for:

11:00 p.m. PDT on August 25

2:00 a.m. EDT on August 26, 2026.

6:00 a.m. UTC on August 26, 2026.

2:00 p.m. Beijing Time (UTC+8) on August 26, 2026.

We hope the resources you earned during these events will help you begin an even greater adventure across the vast world of PixARK!

At the same time, now that the official server transition is complete, all legacy official servers were retired at:

7:00 p.m. PDT / 10:00 p.m. EDT on August 23

2:00 a.m. UTC / 10:00 a.m. Beijing Time (UTC+8) on August 24, 2026.

To help you preserve the worlds you built and the memories you made, save files from those retired servers are now available for download beginning August 25 (Beijing Time, UTC+8).

The download service will remain available for one month, until September 24, 2026 (Beijing Time). Please plan accordingly and download your server save before the service closes.

1. Save File Information

Two snapshots are available. Choose the version that best suits your needs:

● August 3 Snapshot: Taken one day before the new servers opened on August 4, preserving the world as it appeared before the transition.

● August 24 Final Snapshot: Taken on the legacy servers' final day of operation, preserving their world state at shutdown.

Important: Some Explorers completed their item transfers and dismantled structures before the shutdown. As a result, some buildings may already be missing from the August 24 snapshot. Choose the August 3 snapshot for a more complete record of your original base.

The downloads cover 104 legacy official servers, packaged into 47 archive files. Follow the instructions below to find the archive containing your server save.

2. How to Find Your Server Save

1. Open the PixARK Server Save Download Center: https://pixarkdl.woniu.com/

2. Select the snapshot you want (August 3 or August 24).

3. Find your server in the table by its server name.

4. Download the corresponding archive file.

Note: A single archive may contain save data for multiple servers hosted on the same physical machine. Verify the server name before downloading to avoid selecting the wrong archive.

3. How to Import a Server Save into Single-Player

IMPORTANT: Before importing any server save, back up your current local save data. Otherwise, these steps may overwrite an existing single-player save.

1. Identify the Map Used by Your Save

The available downloads contain saves for two maps, each of which uses a different game directory. A save placed in the wrong directory will not be recognized.

Save Type

Corresponding Map

Save Directory

PixARK Map Save (CubeWorld)

PixARK Map

...\\CubeSingles\\CubeWorld_Light

Skyward Map Save (Skypiea)

Skyward Map

...\\CubeSingles\\Skypiea_Light

The instructions below use the PixARK Map directory, CubeWorld_Light, as the example. For a Skyward Map save, replace CubeWorld_Light with Skypiea_Light; all other steps are the same.

2. Download and Extract the Server Save

Download the correct archive and extract it. The archive will contain two folders. If the folder you need ends with the Chinese suffix -副本 (meaning “copy”), remove the suffix and rename the folder using only its numeric ID (for example, 71310173-副本 → 71310173). Otherwise, the game may not recognize it.

3. Prepare the Single-Player Save Directory

Case A: You have never created a single-player character on this map

● Launch PixARK → Single Player → select the corresponding map (PixARK Map or Skyward Map) → create a character → exit the game.

● The game will automatically create the map’s save directory (CubeWorld_Light or Skypiea_Light).

● Then proceed to the next step.

Case B: You have previously played this map in single-player

● The save directory already exists. Proceed to the next step.

4. Place the Server Save Folder

Copy the numeric folder you renamed above (for example, 71310173) into the CubeWorld_Light directory described above.

Open the folder and check whether it contains a Local subfolder:

● If Local already exists, use it.

● If Local does not exist, create a new folder named Local.

Move the Map and Tribe folders into Local.

If Local already contains folders named Map and/or Tribe (meaning that another save was imported previously), back them up before overwriting them to avoid losing existing data.

5. Register the Map (MapSaves.ini)

● Locate the MapSaves.ini configuration file in the CubeWorld_Light (or Skypiea_Light) directory.

● If the file does not exist, create a text file named MapSaves.txt, add the required entry, and then change the extension to .ini. If you cannot rename the extension, open File Explorer and select View → Show/Hide → File name extensions, then rename the file.

● Add a new line in the following format: numeric save-folder name=single-player map name

Example: 71310173=ServerSaveTestMap

Left of the equals sign: the numeric name of the folder you imported (for example, 71310173).

Right of the equals sign: the map name you want to see in the game. English letters or numbers are recommended (for example, ServerSaveTestMap).

● Save the file.

6. Launch the Game

Open PixARK → Single Player → Normal or Creative Mode → select the map name you added → enter the world.

7. Load Bases and Access Tribe Structures

● Bases may not load immediately. You must approach the area once to trigger them to load. If you do not see your base after entering the world, teleport to your character’s location on the original server and respawn there to load the base.

● Press Tab or the backtick key (`) to open the command console. The following commands may be useful:

Command Reference

ForcePlayerToJoinTargetTribe 0 — Join the tribe associated with the structure under your crosshair. Aim at a functional structure such as a door, window, or workbench to gain access to all structures owned by that tribe.

Cheat enablespectator — Enter Spectator Mode and fly freely above the map.

Stopspectating — Exit Spectator Mode and allow your character to respawn.

Cheat ghost — Enable ghost/flying mode.

Setcheatplayer true — Display the XYZ coordinates of your current location.

Cheat setplayerpos x y z — Teleport to the specified coordinates.
