Today, we unveiled the global gameplay premiere for Game of Thrones: War for Westeros, our real-time strategy game built for PC, coming to Steam in early 2027. Take command of House Stark, House Lannister, House Targaryen, or the dreaded White Walkers to conquer the Seven Kingdoms and decide who sits the Iron Throne.
Our brand-new Gameplay Reveal Trailer showcases the very first look at gameplay in War for Westeros, revealing the return of some of the most iconic heroes from the franchise. In War for Westeros, you will engage in epic real-time skirmish battles across the Seven Kingdoms, commanding factions and playable heroes including Robb Stark, Jon Snow, Ghost, Grey Wind, Jaime Lannister, Tywin Lannister, Daenerys Targaryen, and the Night King himself. All of these heroes utilize unique abilities that can shift the tide of any battle.
Forging a path to victory will require you to step into the role of a commander, making key decisions in training units, securing resources, constructing buildings, and claiming territory from opposing forces. Each faction offers asymmetric strategies, with unique armies, buildings, mechanics, and playstyles shaped by their identity in the Game of Thrones series. You must harness these distinct strengths, deploy powerful heroes, and adapt their approach to outplay, outmaneuver, and defeat your enemies.
