Hi everyone!
Sorry it’s been a little while since the last update. I’m currently working on a larger content update for Magic Inn, but it’s going to need a bit more time in the oven.
In the meantime, I’ve received quite a few bug reports and helpful suggestions from players. Thank you so much for sending them in! Rather than making everyone wait for the bigger update, I decided to put together a smaller patch first to fix some of the more immediate issues.
After using Inquiry on an adventurer, the UI now shows their Expedition Abilities instead of their resources.
Weapons now include descriptions explaining what they do.
Weapon crafting recipes are now displayed in the UI.
If an NPC’s resource is already included in your contract, the game will now tell you instead of letting you wonder whether you forgot something.
The game now indicates when the current customer is a regular customer.
Reduced the crafting time of many recipes, so hopefully there’ll be a little less staring at the furnace.
Fixed an issue preventing players from establishing a Supply Contract with merchants.
Fixed an issue where the Confidence bonus from the protagonist’s bedroom would sometimes not be applied.
Housekeepers can now correctly help with crafting at the furnace.
Fixed an issue where some floor decorations couldn’t be placed even though their build zone appeared available.
Fixed an issue where the first Expedition task could become impossible to complete after hiring an adventurer.
Fixed Magical Vines growing into the wall instead of away from it. The vines have been reminded how walls work.
There are still a few stubborn bugs I haven’t managed to squash yet, along with some really good suggestions that need more time to implement. I’m planning another smaller update to address more of these while I continue working on the larger content update.
As always, thank you so much for playing Magic Inn, reporting issues, and being patient with our tiny team. It really helps us make the game better.
