Greetings, Inspectors!
Development on Orbital Checkpoint is moving at hyper-speed, and today we are incredibly excited to give you a first look at some of the unique faces—and species—you'll be processing at the border.
Running a cosmic border checkpoint isn't just about stamping passports; it's about knowing who (or what) you are letting through. Every species comes with its own specific paperwork, distinct behavior, and very different reasons for crossing into our sector.
Take a look at the official Galactic Station 42 lineup. Which one of these would you cross-examine first?
Blorgon: Bright, pink, and always traveling with their trusted, slug-like companion. Watch out for their specialized hazardous environment suits!
Blue Crystallian: Sharp, sleek, and highly energized. Their crystalline composition requires unique documentation.
Medusan: Floating into the terminal with a relaxed vibe, but don't let the smile fool you—always double-check their luggage.
Lunarian: Slow-moving but incredibly resourceful. They carry heavy backpacks and heavy secrets.
Tau Fuzzling: Don't let the fluffiness distract you from the security protocol.
Oculus: Mysterious, cloaked, and always watching you back with that single, massive eye.
Aviarian: Navigating the stars with retro-futuristic tech and actual physical maps. They seem a bit lost, or are they just acting?
Frogian: Disciplined, space-suit-ready, and usually walking their bizarre alien pets.
Want to get your hands on the stamp tool before anyone else? You can now sign up for our upcoming Playtests directly on Steam!
We need sharp-eyed inspectors to help us test the core mechanics, catch bugs, and give us vital feedback on the gameplay loop. Head over to our Steam page and hit the "Request Access" button to join the pool.
The official gateway opens next month. We are thrilled to announce that the Orbital Checkpoint Demo will be publicly available on August 3rd! You'll get to experience the tension, the quirky characters, and the bureaucratic challenges of managing the station firsthand.
Make sure to Wishlist the game and sign up for the playtest so you don't miss a single update.
See you at the booth, Inspector!
