Because this update changed the way save data is saved, it may end up corrupting your save data (sorry). If that happens, keep in mind that whenever a new update is downloaded the game automatically creates a permanent backup of your most recent save.
Additionally, you can continue playing on the old version using
Steam library->Right click->Properties->Game versions and betas->previousversion.
You should still let me know if there's a problem though since previousversion will update to V1.25 if and when I make a V1.26.
