Moving to Unreal Engine!

Hello everyone!

It’s been a while since we announced Car Crime Simulator. During this time, we haven't been sitting on our hands; instead, we’ve been coldly analyzing the direction in which we want to develop this project. We are committed to delivering a high-quality product with a strong character and a dense atmosphere. That’s why we’ve made a crucial, strategic decision: we are moving the entire project to Unreal Engine.

Why the change?

Running a chop shop, stealing, and tearing cars apart for parts - it’s a dirty, tough business that needs the right setting. We want to provide you with a concrete visual feast. Unreal gives us the tools to extract the maximum out of this game when it comes to realistic lighting, rust textures, grease details, and the overall raw atmosphere. We are not interested in half-measures or visual compromises - the criminal underworld must look believable and tangible.

To mark this transition, we want to show you how the first locations look on the new engine. These are the places where you'll spend a lot of time building your empire.

Your "Workplace”

We start with the absolute basics. At the beginning, your chop shop is just an old, dingy barn with the most basic tools. This is where you’ll bring your first stolen rides and dismantle them down to the screws under the cover of night. The atmosphere is heavy, industrial, and raw - exactly how it should be at the start of a not-entirely-legal career path.

Your Hideout

And here is your home and command center rolled into one. The place where you plan your next heists, manage your finances, and lay low after a job. As you can see from the first screenshots - luxuries are lacking for now (old wallpapers, pizza leftovers, and salvaged furniture). But pay attention to the last screen. Along with the growth of your business, the influx of cash, and unlocking new opportunities, you will be able to renovate, upgrade, and systematize your surroundings. You start in the dirt, but you're aiming for a professional, well-oiled operation.

We are really curious about how you like this new, more realistic visual direction. Let us know in the comments - your feedback is always a solid point of reference for us. Meanwhile, we are getting back to work on the metal-cutting mechanics and chop shop management.

Don’t forget to wishlist Car Crime Simulator, and stay tuned for more updates!

Community13 Sep 2026The Neighborhood Is Getting Better... Sort OfHello everyone! Winston Springs is finally starting to look the way I remember it. Don't get me wrong, it was never exactly a peaceful place. But the area around my hideout was starting to feel a little too... friendly. And this definitely isn't the kind of neighborhood you move to for the good schools and quiet neighbors. Things have changed a bit since then. There's more going on around the h…Community6 Sep 2026Business Is BoomingHello everyone! Winston Springs is getting a little... busy lately. More gangs, more trouble, more people like me trying to make an honest living. Well... you know what I mean. The police seem to have noticed too. They've got a new look, and judging by what's happening around the city, they're going to have their hands full trying to keep everything under control. Which is slightly inconvenient…Community30 Aug 2026An Honest Day’s WorkHello everyone! Alright... enough talking. Time to get to work. Honest work! Well... honest might be a bit of a stretch. I still owe Dirty Jack, and that debt isn't going to pay itself. But I can't exactly start by stealing half a car. I don't have the tools, or any reason to attract that much attention yet. So we start small. Mirrors, wipers... Nothing fancy, but they're easy to grab, easy to…
