We applied a small hotfix to 8.1 that fixes the crash that occurred when using the "Preview" option for ships that can be unlocked in the Warp Gate. Some other tweaks came along with it.

Adds new sound to Phalanx Bulwark impact.
New laser reflect sound that sounds more like the original sound.
Tweaks gain of Mega Bomb and Mega Laser related sounds.
Improves Reflex EMP sound.
Adds an indicator to mods in the shop to indicate whether you own a better mod, or if it would be an upgrade to an existing mod.
