Goalcrest: Club Management Tycoon · published

A major GoalCrest update completely rebuilds player attributes and overall ratings, while making squad management faster and easier.
Every footballer now has seven detailed attributes, overall ratings are calculated differently for each position, and Best XI and Team OVR information is now available directly from the Team page.
The previous four-stat system has been replaced with seven individual attributes:
Goalkeeping
Passing
Tackling
Shooting
Pace
Stamina
Positioning
Every attribute continues to use the 1–99 scale and has its own current rating and potential ceiling.
For example:
Pace: 68 / 82
Young, talented players can have significant room to develop across multiple attributes, while experienced players will generally be closer to their potential.
Overall ratings are no longer calculated the same way for every player.
Each position now prioritizes the attributes that actually matter for that role:
Goalkeepers
60% Goalkeeping
30% Positioning
10% Stamina
Defenders
40% Tackling
40% Positioning
20% Pace
Midfielders
40% Passing
40% Stamina
20% Positioning
Attackers
40% Shooting
40% Pace
20% Passing
This means specialists are now rated much more accurately. A fast striker with excellent finishing will be recognized differently from a slower player with the same Shooting rating.
The match engine now uses combinations of the new attributes when calculating your team's strength.
Defense — Tackling + Positioning
Midfield — Passing + Stamina
Attack — Shooting + Pace
Formations and tactics still apply their modifiers, but the players you select now have a more detailed impact on your team's strengths and weaknesses.
The 3D match engine also uses the new attributes to influence player behaviour during replays.
The new position-based OVR system is used throughout GoalCrest, including:
Market values
Transfer market
Scouting grades
Youth academy
AI squads
Club profiles
Team strength
This means player quality is evaluated consistently wherever you scout, develop, buy, or sell players.
The Team page now includes the same one-click Best XI option available from Tactics and the pre-match screen.
Select Best XI and the game automatically builds your strongest available starting lineup based on player quality, fitness, position, and formation.
Your live Team Overall Rating is now displayed on both the Team and Tactics pages.
The rating updates whenever you:
Change your starting eleven
Switch formation
Adjust your tactical style
It represents the same team strength used by the match engine, giving you an immediate way to compare different setups.
Player fitness is now displayed as a whole number everywhere in the game.
Instead of values such as 87.4, you'll simply see 87. The underlying fitness calculations remain unchanged — only the display has been cleaned up.
Existing saves automatically migrate to the new seven-attribute system.
Previous attributes are converted to their closest equivalents, while Pace, Stamina, and Positioning are generated based on each player's position, age, talent, and existing abilities.
Overall ratings and market values are then automatically recalculated.
Load your career, check the new player attributes, build your Best XI, and see how your squad performs with the new position-based rating system.
