New Update: Season Review, Rarer Wonderkids & Smarter Player Values

A new GoalCrest update improves the end of every season, rebalances youth development, makes elite prospects much rarer, and gives talent and potential a much bigger impact on player value.

New Season Review

Every season now ends with a dedicated Season Review before you move into the next campaign.

The page gives you a complete overview of your season, including:

• Final league position

• Wins, draws and losses

• Goals scored and conceded

• Goal difference and total points

• Win rate

• Top scorer and goals

• Trophies won

• Fanbase size

• Bank balance

• Club reputation

Your final result is also clearly displayed. Finish in a promotion position and you'll receive a PROMOTED status, while relegated clubs will see RELEGATED.

When you're ready, simply continue into the next season.

Smaller & More Selective Youth Academy

Youth recruitment has been rebalanced to make every prospect more important.

Seasonal academy intake is now limited to five players, with one prospect generated for every two academy facility levels.

Weekly scouting reports now discover 1–3 prospects, instead of 2–5, while the academy pool has been reduced from 12 to 6 players.

You'll need to evaluate prospects carefully and sign the best ones before new talent arrives.

Wonderkids Are Now Much Rarer

Player talent now follows a new rarity system:

• Talent 10 — around 40%

• Talent 20 — around 30%

• Talent 30 — around 20%

• Talent 40 — around 7%

• Talent 50 — only 3%

Most players will be ordinary professionals, while genuinely elite prospects are now much harder to find.

Discovering a Talent 50 wonderkid should feel like a major moment for your club.

Smarter Transfer Values

Talent and potential now have a much stronger effect on market value.

A Talent 50 player can receive a 2× value premium, while younger players with significant potential headroom are also worth considerably more.

Age matters too. A 19-year-old with plenty of development ahead will command a much higher price than a 29-year-old with the same current rating but little room to improve.

This makes scouting, developing, buying and selling young talent much more meaningful.

Build for the Next Season

Existing careers automatically receive the new systems. Player values are recalculated when you load your save, while the new academy rules apply to future scouting reports and youth intakes.
