A new update to the demo is available with updated mission balance, some bug fixes, and new features.
Mission 2's stronger enemies have had their health reduced marginally to make it easier for players to maintain control of the screen.
Mission 3's boss has been significantly modified to provide a more challenging experience. Bullet counts have been increased a lot, and the attack pattern has been made more difficult to dodge. Visual improvements to make tracking the attack patterns easier are included.
Fixed a bug that was causing bullet misalignment for some repeating shots across the game. (This change will probably break saved replays, see Replays section below for details.)
New performance options will be added to the options menu for users playing on lower end hardware.
The ability to reduce particle counts will be part of the update.
RAM usage for the game's rewind feature can cause lower end hardware to stutter during gameplay. A new option will be in the menu to prioritize in-game performance, but this may make the rewind feature less responsive.
Changes to the internal workings of the replay system will usually break saved replays. While the game will attempt to replay old replays they may not work. If you really want to keep an old replay you will want to use a screen recorder and record your gameplay before downloading the new version. This note about replays will apply to all future game updates. While attempts are made to ensure replay compatibility between game versions it can not be guaranteed so please record replay data separately for long-term storage.
Various other minor bugs, performance improvements, etc. are also contained in this update.
