Hollow — Patch 3.2.3

Another round of fixes and improvements is live. This one includes some significant work to dungeon generation, quests, ranged combat, and the map system.

Patch 3.2.3

Completely replaced the previous dungeon map system with a new minimap/world map implementation.
Repaired a quest-spawning issue that could interfere with procedural dungeon generation, causing floors to fail to generate correctly or generate without enemies.
Reworked bow targeting on stairs — again. Ranged attacks should now properly account for enemies above or below the player instead of firing into the stairs.
Fixed one-use quest world interactions so consumed quest objects properly disappear and remain consumed.
Improved persistence of procedurally spawned quest objects across saves.
Side quests now remember which NPC originally gave the quest.
Completed quest objectives can now direct you back to the correct NPC by name.
Quest journal entries now display their actual configured rewards, including XP, gold, essence, and applicable item rewards.
Added difficulty badges to the Load Character screen for Normal, Hard, and Terror characters.
Additional quest/save-state improvements to make side-quest progression more reliable between dungeon floors and after reloading.

As always, keep the reports coming. Several of these fixes came directly from players finding edge cases during longer playthroughs.

And yes, the stairs and bows have declared war on me again.

Thanks to everyone continuing to test Hollow.

The biggest change is the Catacombs. A long-running issue could cause perfectly playable dungeon layouts to be rejected during navigati…Game update25 Sep 2026Patch 3.2.4Quest Fixes Fixed an issue where multiple active quests targeting the same dungeon floor could interfere with one another and prevent one quest’s objectives from spawning. It was a very small update, so I rolled those changes into 3.2.2 rather than pushing two builds back-to-back. Quest Improvements Side quests now properly preserve their progression when saving and loading. Quest return objectives now identify the correct NPC by name instead of using generic return text. Quest journal text now clearly identifies Main Quests and…
