Hey everyone,

Checking in from my cave for daily blog number three! Running on plenty of coffee and very little sleep at the moment.

Yesterday, I started my first marketing efforts on Instagram and TikTok. It was exciting to get things out there, although the reach was pretty modest. Let’s see what happens over the next few days. :)

All of yesterday’s bugs and tasks are now sorted!

Getting the recovery feature for lost or stuck cases working took a little longer than expected. It caused some trouble with older saves: all the movies you’d already shelved came flying back out of the shelves. Not exactly the kind of chaos I was going for.

That’s fixed too, but it definitely kept me busy for a while.

Today’s mission: testing on Steam Deck!

Time to see how Video Store Chaos feels on the handheld. I’ll keep you posted!

Thanks for following along. Back to the cave! :)

This morning, I sent press releases to a few journalists and media outlets. Whether…Community6 Oct 2026Dev Blog 07Hey everyone, Long time no see! I’ve been busy tweaking things, polishing a few rough edges and sneaking in another little distraction. Stay tuned. Haha. :) Here’s what’s been done: · A fresh look for the HUD. I’ve reworked the interface to give it a more modern feel. · Clearer settings and options. The menus are now better organised and easier to navigate. · A way to recover missing cases. If…Community29 Sep 2026Daily Dev Blog 06Hey everyone, Sometimes life has other plans. I spent all of yesterday dealing with a hardware memory issue on my PC, so there wasn’t any progress on the game. New day, fresh start! :) Here’s today’s checklist: · Rebalance the perk upgrade costs. · Do more testing and hunt down bugs. · Work on marketing through Steambored. Hopefully today’s bugs will stay inside the game.
