After many days of hard work, dedication, testing, and carefully improving countless details, I can finally share a very special update with you.
It has been an intense journey, but thank God, I did it!
Garoto de Fogo is receiving a major update, with new features, improvements, and new content that I prepared with great care to make the adventure even more complete, fun, and special.
What changed in this update?
🗺️ Information about all collectibles, now displayed at the end of each level and also on the map, making it easier to keep track of your journey and helping you discover what you still need to find.
🔥 Super-secret paths have been added! There are now hidden paths that allow you to break some of the game's rules and, for those skilled enough to discover their secrets, even transform into the Legendary Fire Hero much earlier. Finding the Fire Heart will not be easy, but I wanted to make this possibility available for players who enjoy exploring every corner of the game and also for those who want to try their hand at speedruns.
🏔️ Improvements to the scenery artwork, with various visual refinements. I also fixed the issue with the scratches that appeared on the mountains in some levels, making the world look cleaner and more beautiful.
🎬 New animations and new dialogue for the character, bringing even more personality to the hero and making his interactions with the player even more fun and special.
🏆 New achievements have been added to the game, including a special achievement for those who manage to complete all of Garoto de Fogo's achievements — a true challenge for players who want to unlock everything!
✨ Many other small refinements, adjustments, and improvements have been made throughout the game. These are changes that may seem small individually, but together, they make a big difference to the overall experience and gameplay.
In this update, I dedicated many days to looking at the game again, finding details that could be improved, and thinking of new ways to make the adventure more fun.
Some of the new features were created especially for players who enjoy exploring, discovering secrets, and trying different things. Others came directly from feedback from the community, once again showing me how important it is to listen to the people who are playing the game.
The secret paths, for example, are a way of giving more freedom to those who enjoy discovering the limits of the game. Maybe you will find a path that I never expected you to find so early... or maybe you will manage to do something that seemed impossible.
And that is exactly the kind of discovery I want to provide.
I also continued working on one of the elements that I consider most important in Garoto de Fogo: the personality and interaction between the hero and the player. That is why new dialogue and animations have been added to make these moments even more alive and fun.
This is one of the great features I have always wanted to include in the game, and I have an even bigger dream for the future.
My dream is to bring English voice acting to Garoto de Fogo.
If the game manages to reach more players and generate enough resources for this, I want to invest in English voice acting and, in the future, in other languages as well.
I believe voice acting can transform the experience even further, especially because the hero's conversations and interactions with the player are such an important part of Garoto de Fogo's identity.
Every sale helps make this dream a little more possible.
I still have many plans for the game and many ideas that I would love to turn into reality. That is why I will continue working, listening to the community, and looking for new ways to improve this adventure.
It took many days of dedication to get here, and seeing everything that Garoto de Fogo has become makes me extremely happy.
