Hello, PypeLabs community! 🧪✨
Deep within the studio, magical work is in full swing. Today, I want to lift the veil for the first time and share an exclusive announcement of an entirely new project!
This time, we're slowing down a bit, stepping away from frantic multiplayer chases, and diving into a cozy, yet equally chaotic world. My next game is a meditative, highly addictive simulator about sorting alchemical potions, mysterious brews, and ancient artifacts. Imagine huge mountains of magical junk that have been piling up for centuries. Your task is to bring perfect order by arranging everything on smart shelves. And you won’t just be using your hands, but powerful telekinesis, magical space scanners, and a whole skill tree of unique abilities that turn cleaning into true art.
What stage is development at?
The hardest technical part is already behind us. Most of the core and basic logic is fully written and works like a clock. Objects scatter spectacularly thanks to optimized physics, smoothly magnetize to their slots, and the progression and save systems are already successfully integrated. Right now, I am completely focused on the visual aspect and level design. I am actively building the scene itself — an atmospheric, detailed magical archive with warm lighting, where you will want to spend hours sorting treasures.
But there is one big problem... The game still has no name!
And this is where I need your creativity. I want our community to be involved in creating this story from the very beginning. If you have cool, funny, mysterious, or just fitting ideas for the title of an alchemical sorting chaos game — be sure to write them in the comments! You can also join our Discord server to discuss your ideas and suggest a name!
I might just make the best suggestion the official title of the project. The author of the chosen name will be guaranteed an honorable mention in the game's credits and a free key on release.
Share your thoughts on the idea itself, drop some name variants, and get ready — very soon I will start posting the first screenshots and GIFs of the development process. Stay tuned!
