This update brings a wealth of visual enhancements, mechanic optimizations, and editor preview features. Here are the full details——The demo version now allows preview of the editor functions.You can experience the map editing tools in the demo version (but cannot save map files).Reworked unit modelsThe Economic Metal Maker, Bomber, Fighter, Ship Chassis, and Turret Series Chassis all receive brand‑new models and textures.All images and animations in the database have been re‑recordedTo more accurately display operation guidance.
Visual Effects & Animation
Added decorative addon terrain, and fine‑tuned the colors of various environment themesAdded unit idle animations and improved aiming and firing animations for multiple weapons.Reworked the effects of anti‑air gun weapons and assault hover weapons.Fixed an issue where missile‑type weapons had inaccurate hit timing.Amphibious buildings now display buoyancy attachments when floating on water.Improved the recognizability of Engineer units.Added hit response effects when units are struck.Improved shield break effects.Units now display a white outline when selected, enhancing selection state differentiation.Improved a visual issue with dark artifacts on shallow‑water objects in the water material.Adjusted skill casting performance effects; skill name animations are no longer displayed.Campaign Level AdjustmentsThe Assisted-Command system is now officially introduced and enabled in mission 1‑3, allowing new players to master its functions step by step.The Hard difficulty of 1‑3 no longer has a turn limit.All levels of the first chapter have received minor tweaks.Mission base scores are now differentiated based on actual difficulty.UI Improvements:The damage preview UI now shows friendly‑fire warnings to help avoid hitting allies.Added a pause panel: you can pause game script performances and AI actions for tactical thinking.Script performances can also be skipped from the pause panel (but forced manual actions cannot be skipped).The save/load game popup now displays unit positions.Fixed several localization issues.Gameplay Mechanic Improvements:Optimized AI strategies for building and using transport aircraft.Increased AI aggressiveness in capturing mining points.Metal Makers are now prioritised by high output value during settlement, to maximise total output.Skirmish Mode Related:Added more skirmish maps.Added a one‑click group setting (quick formation) and all‑AI difficulty function.The starting unit option for skirmishes now includes a “no additional units” option (for player maps with preset units).Fixed an issue where skirmishes could not be won or lost under certain game settings.Demo Version Restrictions:Considering that playing skirmishes with an incomplete unit list provides a poor experience, skirmish mode is no longer open in the demo version.
However, existing skirmish save files can still be loaded and played.
