We're grateful that MIMESIS has a modding community. Install the mods you like, and play the way you like. If mods make this game truly yours, that is exactly what we hoped for.
There is one thing worth knowing, though. Because mods are made by players themselves, some of them include AI-generated assets, and we've noticed that those images are sometimes mistaken for our own work.
Every element of MIMESIS itself has been created through the blood and sweat of the human artists on our team, and that principle is not going to change.
That said, we have no intention of censoring mods or restricting the tools people create with. How you make your mod is entirely your choice. We see mods as an extension of the experience MIMESIS offers, and we would rather have a loud, creative scene with a bit of confusion in it than a tidy one that we control.
One small favor to ask of mod authors: if your mod contains AI-generated assets, we would appreciate a line about it in the description. It is not required, but it is a small courtesy that helps other players judge what they are installing.
