Hello raiders!
It is exciting and also difficult to write these words.
There are moments during the development of a video game when you ask yourself if that day will ever actually arrive.
Moments when you try to predict when that day will come, but predictions are simply impossible to make. A bit like the ancients did, when they wondered if the Sun would go out again and night would devour the day, trying in every way to perform increasingly precise calculations to predict that day. Their destiny depended on that event.
Our Eclipse, the beginning of a new cycle, is here.
It all started from an initial spark: a biological ship, a human brain implanted into the cold hull of a spaceship. A humanity forcibly ripped from its shell, left without eyes, hands, or legs, installed in an unmanned metal hull.
And then a space combat game set in an original universe, where weird fiction, transhumanism, and dark sci-fi epic would come to life.
We, of course, had no idea where this journey would lead us.
First enthusiasm, then frustration, then enthusiasm again.
The first time you look at a scene and think: "Hell yes, this is exactly what we wanted to see".
A group of colleagues, then friends, plunging into the coils of a galaxy as beautiful as it is lethal. A place into which we poured ideas, time, passion, and a disproportionate amount of energy. A game born from a vision and grown thanks to all the people who decided to accompany us.
After years of development, countless builds, bugs, tests, changes, discarded ideas, last-minute recovered ideas, and lots and lots of coffee (yes, we drink coffee in Neterun too)... Hell Galaxy has finally reached its Version 1.0.
