Hello, Gal Masters! This is the development team behind Could You Be a Gal Master?
On August 7, 2026, Could You Be a Gal Master? officially launched, and the game’s four heroines finally got to meet all of you.
Since launch, we have received an incredible amount of support from players through purchases, reviews, shares, livestreams, bug reports, and suggestions for improving the overall experience. Seeing so many of you enjoy the characters, story, artwork, and music has made us truly happy. We sincerely thank every player who chose to spend their time with this game.
At the same time, we are aware that the launch version still contains several issues related to compatibility, display, text, and interface behavior. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience these issues may have caused.
Below are the details of this update, along with our current solutions and plans for the future.
We have optimized the game’s art assets to reduce both RAM and VRAM usage.
We have also added an adaptive asset-compression system that automatically adjusts the memory footprint of the artwork based on the amount of RAM and VRAM detected on the player’s device.
The game uses extremely high-resolution art assets. All of the original artwork was created at native 4K resolution or on canvases with even higher resolutions, which also means that the game has relatively high hardware requirements.
These optimizations are aimed primarily at players using integrated graphics or certain older systems. On higher-spec systems, the gameplay experience and full-quality visuals will remain exactly the same as in the previous version.
Should the game continue to crash on an older system or a device with integrated graphics after this update, please contact us and send us a report as soon as possible!
Thank you to everyone who helped us catch them!
Current workaround: Please consider playing the game in windowed mode for the time being. We will continue working to improve support for these displays!
That achievement has a specific unlock condition, so it is not actually a bug!
Solution: In Could You Be a Gal Master?, right-clicking either hides the dialogue box or returns to the previous menu, depending on the current screen.
Simply right-click to go back!
We are considering producing a Japanese dub.
However, translating the script, coordinating with voice actors, and raising the necessary funds will all take time, so it may be a while before this can happen.
The game’s original soundtrack will be uploaded to NetEase Cloud Music and Bilibili within the next few days.
Once it is available, you will be able to find it by searching for “难道你是GAL高手OST”.
Because the game was built using our own custom framework, and this feature was not planned at the beginning of development, implementing a text-jump function at this stage may be quite difficult.
We are very sorry!
Should we make a sequel in the future, we will include this feature.
Most likely, yes.
Please rest assured that a sequel would not be released as DLC, nor would the content for individual heroines be split up and sold separately. Instead, it would be fully developed and released as one complete, standalone game.
However, we are still raising the necessary development funds, so it will be some time before we can officially confirm that the project is moving forward.
Our artist is about to enter ultimate grind mode and take on a mountain of freelance art jobs to save up the development budget, so hopefully we will not keep you waiting too long!
If enough of you want it, we will make it!
At our artist’s strong insistence, most of the merchandise will not simply reuse existing assets from the game. Instead, it will feature brand-new illustrations and designs, so it will also take some time to create.
Bug Report QQ Group: 136639983
As the number of members continues to grow while our team remains short-staffed, managing the group and keeping track of reports has become increasingly difficult.
We may stop accepting new members in the near future. Once we have resolved the issues that have the greatest impact on the player experience, we will switch to collecting feedback through a dedicated feedback form.
To help us reproduce and resolve bugs more quickly, please provide as much of the following information as possible when submitting a report:
Your current game version;
Your Windows version;
Your screen resolution, Windows display scaling percentage, and display mode;
The exact chapter or scene in which the issue occurred;
The steps required to reproduce the issue;
Screenshots, screen recordings, or error messages;
Whether the issue still occurs after restarting the game;
The game’s log files.
Thank you so much for showing so much love to a game that is still rather rough around the edges!
While reading through player reviews, we noticed that one particular comment appeared more often than any other:“It’s only 7RMB anyway.”
To be honest, this left us feeling both a little embarrassed and deeply moved.
The truth is that this game has no shortage of flaws or things worth criticizing. It is only because of everyone’s patience and understanding that we are able to keep moving forward.
As for the shortcomings players have pointed out—including the script, characterization and character design, voice acting, audio post-production, and other areas—should we have the opportunity to make a sequel, we will work hard to do better and live up to the patience and generosity you have shown us today.
Thank you for playing our game...
