The public playtest for OmniGun is now live, so get in there and test out the weapon of the future! The playtest has the following content with more being added as the playtest goes on:

5 floors to fight through

  • 5 floors of escalating difficulty await you in a procedurally generated layout in an Office and Lab tile set with more to come.

90 ammo types to find/mutate.

  • Pick from 6 starting ammo types: Darts, Napalm, Shotgun Shells, Plasma cartridges, a cutting laser and an energy barrier.

  • Some mutation trees aren't fully fleshed out yet, but the core framework is there.

  • The pool will be added to and subtracted from as the playtest goes on.

2 bosses, the MegaTurret and GigaSpawner.

  • Both bosses are functional, but more ability variety is planned for added challenge.

  • The Mega turret tracks you down with its massive turret and countermeasures.

  • The GigaSpawner spawns constant waves of enemies until their individual weak points are destroyed.

And a little surprise if you can make it to the end.

After you try out the game there is a submit feedback button in the main menu that would be really helpful if you fill out to guide future game balance and content.

As always this game is in active development so you'll probably run into bugs and balance issues as you test it out.
