Deep Drift: Signal Below has received a final round of treasure, progression, and world-polish updates—giving each descent a little more reason to wander off the safe route.
## Key Changes
- Added treasure chests throughout the depths, with gear, fish coins, and other rewards to discover.
- Some chests may now bring a surprise encounter. Apparently, not everything underwater appreciates being opened.
- Expanded equipment drops and reward progression to make successful dives feel more meaningful.
- Refined the underwater world with richer coral, seaweed, lighting, and environmental details.
- Improved the overall interface and moment-to-moment dive experience.
## Looking Ahead
This will be the last major content update for the game. The core game will not be expanding further, and the project is now moving into a maintenance phase focused on keeping the current experience stable and playable.
Making this game has been a mix of joy, confusion, late-night “why is that fish doing that?” moments, and a lot of learning. I think I have reached the edge of what I can personally carry forward right now. Somewhere along the way, I entered my own deep-water zone—and it is time for me to surface and refill my oxygen.
If this game gives you even one more reason to suit up and descend into the dark, I will be genuinely proud.
