Hello! I'm Jon, and I handle the business stuff here at Couch Lion.
I want to thank you for all the incredible support we've recieved since the launch of Dream & Sugar. We love seeing comments, guides, and screenshots of the characters and game. It's an amazing feeling, and makes us want to work even harder on more games!
However, big projects come with big challenges. So, I'm excited to announce that we're officially becoming a company! Couch Lion is transforming into an official LLC, but we'll be the same group of friends who love making games. And we've already started our next project! Of course, bringing in new and talented people isn't easy. We want to make our future brighter, and that unfortuantely means we need to make money. Of course, if you already have the game, you'll keep it free of charge! But we wanted to let you, our community, know what was happening and why. On October 14th, Dream & Sugar will become a paid game, with a base price of $2.99.
It may seem odd or a bit out of left field to transition from a free game to a paid game over a year after the release date, but we're trying to create a healthy and long-term momentum that will push us into our next big project! We appreciate all the amazing support and feedback we've recieved over the past couple of years, and we're looking forward to the future!
