One good shot can change the battlefield.

One bad shot can make you part of it.

Welcome to Greenfire! The Steam Coming Soon page is now live. Watch the actual gameplay trailer on the store page and add Greenfire to your wishlist if exploding tanks and spectacular mistakes sound like your kind of strategy.

What is Greenfire?

Greenfire is a turn-based 3D artillery game with destructible terrain, wild weapons, and chain reactions. Dig away a rival’s footing, send a tank flying, or discover why standing next to your target was a terrible plan.

The current development build includes solo battles against AI, shared-computer multiplayer, a 20-round campaign, customizable matches, and a shooting range for experimenting with the arsenal.

What comes next?

The Steam edition is still in development. Windows testing and polish come next. Online multiplayer and Steam leaderboards are planned and are not available in the current build. There is no public Steam Playtest open yet; testing news will be posted here when ready.

Help shape the game

Which weapons look the most fun? What would make you want one more match? Share your questions and feedback in the discussions. Wishlisting helps you keep track of the release; following the game helps you see future announcements.

Greenfire is an original tribute to Kenneth Morse’s Tank Wars (1990), independently created and not affiliated with or endorsed by the original game or its creator.

Thanks for taking a look!
