Turbo Era Boss Early Access 0.7.1 is now available on Steam.
This update is a major step toward a deeper long-term team-management career. Your decisions no longer stop at the final race of the season: driver, engine and tyre planning now carries into the year ahead.
Driver, engine and tyre agreements can now be negotiated for future seasons. Accepted agreements are secured for the target year without rewriting the current grid, while the end-of-season review clearly shows the decisions still required before the next campaign can begin.
Engine and tyre suppliers now have real capacity. Engine programmes can support up to three teams per target season and tyre programmes up to seven. AI teams compete for the same places as the player, accepted reservations are protected, and a full supplier forces teams to look elsewhere rather than bypassing the rules.
Final championship results remain visible while you prepare the next team. Once the plan is complete, the new drivers, engine and tyre agreements activate together. Rival driver moves are also reconciled so every active driver belongs to one team and every team enters the new season with a valid pair of drivers.
We reduced repeated processing of large Paddock Editor profiles during live Qualifying. Naming and identity data is reused more efficiently, improving responsiveness while preserving deterministic simulation behaviour.
The race-event presentation has been refreshed with new Turbo Era Boss artwork for starts, rain, accidents, driver mistakes, pit stops, retirements, fuel problems, engine fires, race finishes and podium celebrations.
0.7.1 is about making Turbo Era Boss feel less like a sequence of isolated race weekends and more like a career where decisions made today shape the team you will have next season.
