Big Bad Pharma V1.1.5 patch notes

A few of you sent in reports that turned out to be much more useful than you probably realised, one comment about an achievement that "never triggers" and one very patient write-up about being told you were a single item short led me straight to two bugs that had been sitting there since long before V1.1.0. Thank you for those.

🌱 "You did it raw, dawg" now actually unlocks. This was properly broken and I am sorry it took so long to spot. The game remembered whether you had ever used an ability in a global file rather than per playthrough, and it reloaded that memory every single time a level loaded. So starting a fresh game correctly cleared the flag, and then the level load immediately put it back. In practice: if you had ever used one ability, once, in any save, at any point since you bought the game, that achievement could never unlock again for you. It is now tracked per run, the way it always should have been. To be clear about the rules, because a few people asked: you may buy every ability and upgrade every skill to the top and still earn it. You simply can never use an ability during the shift.

🌱 Your settings stop resetting. Volume, sensitivity, FOV, crosshair, motion blur and the rest were being stored inside your run save file. That had two nasty consequences. Starting a New Game deletes the run save, which means it also silently deleted every setting you had ever chosen. And if you changed a setting before the game had autosaved for the first time, it was not written anywhere at all — you would set your volume, quit, and come back to defaults. They now live in their own file that nothing else touches. Your current settings are carried over automatically the first time you launch this version, so you should not have to redo anything.

🌱 I'M STUCK is now a proper panic button. It used to just reset the shop floor and put you back at the door. It now also unpauses the game, re-checks every shelf against what is actually on it, repairs any shelf whose claimed capacity has drifted, sweeps up lost stock, and tells you plainly how many items you still have left to shelve. If the game ever gets itself into a state that does not make sense, that button is the intended way out — please try it before assuming a save is dead.

🌱 The last-item hint no longer sends you to the toilet for no reason. When you got down to one item remaining, the game always suggested the staff bathroom. That was a joke that stopped being funny the moment your last item was lying on the shop floor instead, which is exactly what happened to at least one of you. The hint still nods at the bathroom, but it now also tells you the truth — the item is loose somewhere on the floor — and points at I'M STUCK if you genuinely cannot find it.

🌱 Ability upgrades are worth buying now. Magnet Grab and Auto Shelve were capped at 8 items at maximum rank while your hands could already hold 14, so the abilities got weaker relative to you the more you upgraded. Both now scale exactly like carry capacity and reach 14 at max rank. Cooldowns also come down faster per rank — a fully upgraded ability now sits at 12 seconds instead of 20 — and the Locate marker lasts 20 seconds at top rank instead of 14.

Game update13 Sep 2026Big Bad Pharma V1.1.6 patch notesThis one started with me sitting down and reading every thread on the discussions board in one go, then going through the game's code looking for the causes rather than the symptoms. Six separate threads were about the same thing, one achievement I thought I had fixed was still not unlocking, and a couple of you had found problems I would never have spotted on my own machine. Thank you for all…Game update19 Aug 2026Big Bad Pharma V1.1.4 patch notes🌱 No more 1/1 shelves. The two halves of the rule now live together properly. While a product still has unshelved stock, a fresh segment sizes itself to exactly what remains — that is V1.1.2's fix and it stays (27 Pedibree Minis still fill a 15-slot shelf, then a 12). But once a product's stock is fully spoken for elsewhere, an extra segment now claims the shelf's full natural capacity again,…Game update19 Aug 2026Big Bad Pharma V1.1.3 patch notesA quick one, and it is entirely my fault. Yesterday's V1.1.2 fixed the shelves asking for items that don't exist — and in doing so it broke the little segment counter on the end of every shelf label. Thank you to everyone who posted screenshots within hours; the Pet Aisle shot with "2/1" on a finished product showed the whole story in one image. 🌱 The segment counters on shelf labels are back…
