Controls Guide

Fly cleaner. Fight smarter.

We've published a full Controls Guide for SUPERVERSE — covering keyboard, gamepad, and Steam Link — plus how the new gamepad flight feel works.

What's new: Turn then thrust

On gamepad, the left stick now follows a turn then thrust model:

  1. Push the stick toward where you want to go
  2. The ship turns first
  3. Thrusters kick in as your nose lines up (within about 45°)

That means cleaner course changes and less sideways burn when you swing hard.

Quick tips

  • Keyboard — rotate and thrust are separate keys (WASD / arrows)
  • Left stick — aim + thrust (turn then thrust)
  • Right stick — rotate only; add RT when you want to move
  • D-Pad + RT — classic turn / thrust, closest to keyboard
  • Shield — hold LT, or click L3 / R3 (push in a thumbstick)
