An online account can be created to participate in online play. Online play includes:

Friend comparisons including progress, profile and matchmaking agencies.

Receive letters about your avatar’s dating life after they appear in friend's games.
Daily challenges.
Earn ‘Kitty Pearls’ by participating in online gameplay.
A catalogue of collectable Kitty Pins.

Makeover rating in the Salon, which can give an extra bonus on a date.
Streaming Options menu, accessible from the Pause Menu.
View Mode on the Main Menu to look at the Dating Agency with minimal UI.
A daily bonus is awarded when playing for multiple days in a row.
