Feel free to wishlist it if the game got your attention or share it with friends if you think they would be interested!!

Hola! It's been some time since last post, so what is going on?! Where is DUCKO! ?
I will explain it all; give me some time!

To be short:

Data Dive is my next Steam game after Clean Stack; it's a Sokoban puzzle game mainly focused on Level Editor and Steam Workshop, so feel free to check it out! :)

To be long:

So first of all, Data Dive, the game that I announced available on Itchio, is coming to Steam with a much more advanced and complete version (Hopefully more enjoyable! :D)
My goal isn't to pass too much time on this game but like Clean Stack I want to make it a full-fledged game that looks like a good product for Steam! I don't know how much time the development of the game will take me, but my goal is to release it around the end of this year.
Since Clean Stack, I think I can safely say that my skills have improved a lot, so I should be able to progress on this project faster without struggling and focus on giving the best experience I possibly can to you, the player! At least I will try my best :DI will be working on this game completely alone this time!*
1 - The game was first made with 2 other programmers who are not focusing on other things as I continue on my side to progress on the project (Thanks a lot to them who let me continue work on the project on my own! 💖)
2 - The game is currently translated in 2 languages by myself but will probably be translated in many more languages by friends or the community so I will be far from alone on that!

What is Data Dive on Steam exactly about ?

The game is a Sokoban game which means you play in a grid and you basically need to push stuff to complete the goal of the level and beat it! My current vision for the game is to mainly focus it on level editing and community-made content around the game! I will try my best to make a level editor with enough content to give players a huge variety of tools to play around with and explore tricky puzzle mechanics and post them on the Steam Workshop! The game will most likely have a few levels made by myself as a tutorial and to give inspiration to players to start making their own levels, but it will really be focused on community made levels!

How much will the game cost?

It's LITERALLY free!
Right now, I plan to make the game completely free with a tiny supporter DLC with content that doesn't give any advantage or exclusive content.
As a side note, it might be subject to change to turn into paid with a very low price but it's not what I want, it's planned to be free unless I need money to eat food and pay rent!
(As soon as the game comes out, the price won't increase no matter what; it might get lower, but it won't increase ever)

And what about DUCKO! ??

(This game)
For now, I use DUCKO! To practice and get better at coding! Data Dive was made earlier this year and I felt like it had some potential to be put on Steam and had a decent base. DUCKO! is also quite challenging to make, I want to do a LOT of tiny tiny things play with each other and be very modular and this requires me to be even better at programming and code architecture, which I'm working on! I will continue DUCKO! Once I feel confident enough to make the game from start to end (which *should* be in not too long). One tiny issue is also that I can't make the assets or the music of this game by myself at all, so it might also be an obstacle in the development to keep in mind!

One last note

I currently post almost every day my new progress on Data Dive; why not on Discord while I said I would? I want to post on Discord when I have NEW things to show, right now I'm basically remaking the game from scratch to be made cleaner and better for a level editor to be built, So nothing really new, if you want to see how it looks like you can always check on social media, I don't want to spend all my time posting progress. As much as I'm super grateful, it gives me visibility and a few people care about it; it's not something I enjoy doing the most! I would rather talk in DMs to players than do those posts but I need some eyes on my games!
I will still post here when I have completely new things :D

One one last last note note

Since I have to redo almost everything from scratch and I want to redo the UI, the current pictures for the Steam page are from things that will be later improved but still follow the current vibe of the game, so don't feel surprised if at some point the game looks quite different (and cooler hopefully 😎)See you all next time and survive until then! Don't forget to check on Data Dive 💖
Love to all the people caring about my stuff, from the bottom of my heart really!
